This paper proposes a wireless sensor network system that can coexist with a high-power microwave power transmission system. The system's compatibility and feasibility were demonstrated through measurements in an anechoic chamber.
In this paper, a wireless sensor network system that can be coexist with high-power microwave power transmission system is proposed. Based on a frequency division scheme where the microwave power transmission (MPT) system and wireless communication frequencies are 5.8 GHz and 920 MHz, respectively was adopted for the coexistence. Packet error rate (PER) and radio signal strength indicator (RSSI) were measured with rectifier output DC power to show the compatibility. Feasibility of the proposed system was demonstrated by evaluating the measurements in an anechoic chamber.
