Two potentially useful macrolides with diethylene glycol and dihydrazide fragments were synthesized based on 7-oxooctanoic acid. The obtained compounds were characterized using IR and NMR spectroscopy, as well as chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Based on the available 7-oxooctanoic acid, syntheses of two potentially useful macrolides with diethylene glycol a n d dihydrazide fragments have been developed using at the key stages [2+1]-interaction of 7-oxooctanoic acid with di -ethylene glycol ditosylate and [1+1]-condensation of the resulting alpha,omega-diketodiester with dihydrazides of adip i c a n d L-(+)-tartaric acids. The structure of the obtained compounds was established using IR and NMR spectroscopy and confirmed by chromatography-mass spectrometry.
