FPGAN: Face de-identification method with generative adversarial networks for social robots

Summary: This paper proposes a new face de-identification method based on generative adversarial network (GAN) to protect visual facial privacy. The convergence of the method is mathematically proven and the performance is guaranteed through the design of improved U Net generator and two discriminators with seven-layer network architecture. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms baseline methods.
