Investigating individual trajectories in experiencing boredom in the language classroom: The case of 11 Polish students of English

A Control-Value Theory Approach to Boredom in English Classes Among University Students in China

Qualitative data from interviews with students and teachers showed more complexities in the associations between control-value appraisals and boredom, providing further support for the Control-Value Theory and shedding light on boredom instigation in the L2 learning context.
