Relaxation of residual stress-controlled thermopower factor in transparent-flexible Ti-doped ZnO thin films

Dai Cao Truong et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that annealing can improve the thermoelectric performance of Ti-doped ZnO thin films, enhancing their power factor. However, as the annealing temperature increases, Ti2+ diffuses into the ZnO lattice, disrupting the crystalline structure and resulting in a reduction of the power factor.

Continuous Tuning of the Fermi Level in Disorder-Engineered Amorphous Films of Li-Doped ZnO for Thermoelectric Applications

Hyunwoo Bark et al.

Summary: The energy-dependent TE performance characteristics of Li-doped ZnO thin films were investigated, showing that a higher ratio of interstitial Li and oxygen vacancies improves the n-type TE performance. Additionally, a reduction in localized density of states was observed with a higher ratio of interstitial Li and oxygen vacancies, pointing towards potential improvements in TE device design with amorphous metal-oxide semiconductors.
