New Stabilization Properties of Pendulum Models Applying a Large Parameter

A. I. Ismail et al.

Summary: This paper introduces new models of pendulum motions and derives the equations of motions using Lagrangian functions. A new mathematical technique called the large parameter method is used to solve both models' systems, and the accuracy of the solutions is examined by comparing numerical and analytical results.

The dynamical motion of a gyrostat for the irrational frequency case

T. S. Amer et al.

Summary: This work focuses on the three-dimensional motion of a rigid body around a fixed point under the influence of gyrostatic moment and Newtonian force field. By deriving equations of motion and solving them with numerical methods, the study reveals the stability and motion characteristics of the body accurately.

The 3D motion of a charged solid body using the asymptotic technique of KBM

T. S. Amer et al.

Summary: This paper explores the general rotatory 3D motion of a magnetic heavy solid body under the impact of a gyrostatic moment, achieving new asymptotic periodic solutions through the application of the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolski asymptotic technique. Graphical depictions of the solutions and phase planes provide insight into the behavior of the body during motion and the effects of applied forces and moments. The results have potential applications in gyroscopic devices, particularly in inertia reference systems for satellites, airplanes, and missiles, as well as devices responsible for stability in these applications.

Application of a Large-Parameter Technique for Solving a Singular Case of a Rigid Body

A. I. Ismail

Summary: The paper investigates the motion of a rigid body in a singular case of natural frequency (ω=1/3), using a large parameter ε and angular velocity component r(o) to solve the problem. Periodic solutions are derived and the geometric interpretation of motion is examined. The obtained solutions are graphically presented and numerical solutions are found using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method to compare errors between the two solutions.

A new pendulum motion with a suspended point near infinity

A. I. Ismail

Summary: This paper represents a pendulum model as a mechanical system with a simple pendulum suspended on a spring, exploring the motion of the pendulum and spring. Equations of motion are obtained using Lagrange's equation, and the influence of system parameters on motion is studied using a computerized program, showing the accuracy of the methods through graphical representations.

Periodic Property and Instability of a Rotating Pendulum System

Ji-Huan He et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the dynamical properties of a pendulum attached to a rotating rigid frame with a constant angular velocity. The analytic solution of the governing nonlinear differential equation of motion is obtained using He's homotopy perturbation method. The obtained solution is verified for high accuracy using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method and He's frequency formulation. The stability condition of the motion is examined and discussed, and the impact of different parameters on the dynamical motion is revealed through graphical representations of time histories.

Homotopy Perturbation Method for the Fractal Toda Oscillator

Ji-Huan He et al.

Summary: This paper demonstrates the basic properties of a fractal oscillator using fractal variational theory and introduces a new form of the Toda oscillator free of the exponential nonlinear term through the homotopy perturbation method. The analytical solution is validated through numerical tests, showing excellent agreement, and the graphical illustration further elucidates the effect of the order of the fractal derivative on the vibration property.
