One-step preparation of cobalt phosphate at room temperature for effective photocatalytic H2 evolution

Xing Liu et al.

Summary: Cobalt phosphate materials were prepared using different raw materials at room temperature, showing 3D flower-like structures with varying compactness depending on the raw materials used. The cobalt phosphates exhibited high photocatalytic activity for HER, with CoP(A) showing higher activity than CoP(B) due to its more dispersive nanosheet and larger BET-specific surface area. This work contributes towards the development of cost-efficient solar HER using abundant elements for sustainable development.

Study on cobalt-phosphate (Co-Pi) modified BiVO4/Cu2O photoanode to significantly inhibit photochemical corrosion and improve the photoelectrochemical performance

Xue Li et al.

Summary: This paper successfully addresses the limitations of photoelectrochemical performance by modifying a BiVO4/Cu2O heterojunction with a Co-Pi cocatalyst. The Co-Pi film thickness is systematically studied to enhance PEC performance and light stability of the prepared electrode materials. The modified electrode shows high activity and potential for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, indicating promising applications in the field of water treatment.
