Summary: The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is aimed at improving road safety and traffic in the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), which makes it better for traffic management. However, there are challenges such as rapid changes in topology, high vehicular mobility, and frequent link failures, which make it difficult for drivers to make timely decisions. Therefore, optimized and congestion-free routes are needed to collect real-time data from vehicles. This study presents bioinspired optimization routing algorithms in the IoV environment, while also considering factors like monitoring speed limits, pollution checks, and emergency responses.

Summary: Due to population explosion, there has been a significant increase in garbage generation, posing challenges for developing countries in terms of proper and automatic garbage collection. This paper proposes an intelligent garbage detection system using a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) based on deep learning. It aims to provide a cost-effective, accurate, and user-friendly solution for efficient garbage handling, as well as automatic detection of garbage areas in remote locations by municipal corporations. The system utilizes two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models trained on a dataset of captured drone images of solid waste. Evaluation of the CNN models using performance metrics such as precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy showed that the CNN1 model achieved 94% accuracy in automatic solid waste detection.
