A versatile platform for colorimetric, fluorescence and photothermal multi-mode glyphosate sensing by carbon dots anchoring ferrocene metal-organic framework nanosheet

Summary: In this study, a nanozyme-mediated versatile platform was developed for rapid, accurate and portable detection of glyphosate using multiplex signal responses. The platform utilized a N-CDs/FMOF-Zr nanosensor with excellent peroxidase-like activity to generate multiple signal responses, including fluorescence enhancement, absorbance and temperature decrease. The multimodal sensing approach enabled sensitive results in fluorescence mode and visual/portable testing in colorimetric and photothermal channels.

Co-N/C-900 metal-organic framework-derived nanozyme as a H2O2-free oxidase mimic for the colorimetric sensing of l-cysteine

Summary: In this study, a nanozyme Co-N/C-900 derived from Co-Zn bimetal zeolitic imidazolate framework was used to develop a facile colorimetric sensing method for l-cysteine. The Co-N/C-900 exhibited good oxidase-like activity and high catalytic efficiency in the absence of H2O2. The developed colorimetric method showed a low detection limit, favorable selectivity, and anti-interference ability for sensitive determination of l-cysteine.

This study developed a metal node engineering strategy to construct highly efficient 1D substrate transport and catalytic sub-nanochannels within Fe-based (MIL-53(Fe)) nanozymes, showing improved sensitivity and selectivity for the detection of H2O2 and glutathione.

Photoluminescent chiral carbon dots derived from glutamine
