Synthesis of nickel sulfide dendrites from nickel foil using thermal annealing

Adsorption of anionic dye on eco-friendly synthesised reduced graphene oxide anchored with lanthanum aluminate: Isotherms, kinetics and statistical error analysis

Summary: In this study, eco-friendly reduced graphene oxide/Lanthanum Alluminate nanocomposites and Lanthanum Alluminate were used as adsorbents to efficiently remove dye pollutants from synthetic media. The best fit model for adsorption isotherms and kinetic models were determined using factors like adsorbent dosage, adsorbate concentration, and PH. Experimental data showed a better fit with nonlinear forms of isotherms and kinetic equations, with pseudo-second-order and Freundlich isotherm model satisfactorily fitting the equilibrium data. The maximum adsorption capacity for methyl orange was found to be 469.7 mg g(-1) for LaAlO3 and 702.2 mg g(-1) for RGO-LaAlO3.

Conversely, directly loading NiS nanoclusters onto C3N4 nanosheets without CuWO4 intermediaries only results in an evolution rate of 0.27 μmol h(-1), which is 1.6% of that achieved with CuWO4 intermediaries. Moreover, the NiS loaded C3N4 nanosheets exhibit satisfactory salinity tolerance, with an H-2 evolution rate of 4.9 μmol h(-1) in seawater.

Enhanced photocatalytic activities of NiS decorated reduced graphene oxide for hydrogen production and toxic dye degradation under visible light irradiation

Hierarchical nickel sulphide microstructures for controlled water disinfection and cold cathode emission

A method for effectively regulating the green emissions of ZnO through NiS@NiO/rGO

Design of NiS/CNTs nanocomposites for visible light driven catalysis and antibacterial activity studies

Activated carbon-supported NiS/CoS photocatalyst for degradation of methyl violet (MV) and selective disinfection process for different bacteria under visible light irradiation

The Ni7Co3/AC nanocomposite sample showed a high photodegradation efficiency of 98% towards Methyl Violet within 90 minutes, while also displaying strong inactivation performance against S. aureus and E. faecalis within 2 hours. The results suggest that the optimal content of components significantly impacts the degradation ability and composites with increased NiS content exhibit better photocatalytic performance.
