Observer-Based Dynamic Event-Triggered Control for Multiagent Systems With Time-Varying Delay

Liang Cao et al.

Summary: This article addresses the problem of dynamic event-triggered-based adaptive output-feedback tracking control for nonlinear multiagent systems with time-varying input delay. A low-gain nonlinear observer is established to estimate the immeasurable states using the approximation capability of a neural network (NN). An auxiliary system with communication information is designed to generate compensation signals for mitigating the effect of time-varying input delay. A distributed adaptive composite NN dynamic surface control (DSC) strategy is proposed to achieve satisfactory tracking accuracy by compensating for filter errors using a serial-parallel estimation model. An effective switching dynamic event-triggered mechanism is developed to determine communication instants and reduce the update frequency of the controller. The convergence of consensus tracking error to a residual set of the origin is proven. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed composite NN DSC scheme.

Yanan Zhu et al.

Summary: This article investigates an aggregative game with local constraint sets and proposes strategies for computing the Nash equilibrium point in a distributed environment by exchanging estimates with neighbors on a directed graph using auxiliary state variables. The proposed algorithms, utilizing projected gradient-play and average consensus dynamics, are proved to reach the Nash equilibrium point with tools from variational inequality theory and Lyapunov stability theory. Distributed planar formation maneuvering of leader-follower networked systems via a barycentric coordinate-based approach

Yang Xu et al.

Summary: This paper presents a distributed planar leader-follower formation maneuver control strategy for multi-agent systems with different agent dynamic models, based on the barycentric coordinate-based (BCB) control. By exploring the properties of BCB Laplacians, a time-varying target formation can be BCB localizable, and the proposed control laws can continuously maneuver collective agents in various directions. The obtained control performance for multi-car systems with/without saturation constraints preserves good robustness and global stability is proven through mathematical derivations and numerical simulations.
