Influence of harvest season on the chemical composition and antifungal activity of Citrus limon essential oil

Summary: This study aims to evaluate the chemical composition of Algerian Citrus limon peel essential oil (EO) and its antifungal activity against dermatophyte strains according to the harvest period. The results showed that C. limon peel EO exhibited strong antifungal activity against dermatophyte strains and the chemical composition as well as antifungal activity of the EO varied with the seasons.
