Study on Battery Charging Strategy of Electric Vehicles Considering Battery Capacity

Seoung Uk Jeon et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an improved fast charging strategy for electric vehicles by considering available battery capacity and addresses the decreased battery capacity due to charging power. By optimizing the charging strategy injecting constant power, the paper aims to minimize costs and validate the method's effectiveness through cost comparison. The results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed strategy in reducing both battery capacity reductions and economic burdens on EV users.
