Case Report: A Rare Case of Benign Recurrent Intrahepatic Cholestasis-Type 1 With a Novel Heterozygous Pathogenic Variant of ATP8B1

Summary: This study describes a case of BRIC1 in a patient with a novel heterozygous pathogenic variant of ATP8B1. The patient presented with intermittent jaundice and intense pruritus, and was diagnosed with BRIC1 based on laboratory examinations and histopathological assessment. Treatment with rifampicin effectively relieved the symptoms.
