Dual modification of various starches: Synthesis, properties and applications

Adeleke Omodunbi Ashogbon

Summary: This paper focuses on the necessity of dual modification of various starches, which is classified into homogeneous dual modification and heterogeneous dual modification. The classification, synthesis, properties, and applications of dually modified starches are discussed. Parameters such as the order of reactions, the reaction conditions, the medium of reaction, and the botanical sources of the various starches are important in dual modifications.
