Error-mitigated quantum computing of Heisenberg spin chain dynamics

Erik Lotstedt et al.

Summary: In this study, we simulate the time-dependent dynamics of a three-site spin chain governed by the Heisenberg XXX Hamiltonian. The Suzuki-Trotter approximation is used to construct the quantum circuit representing the time-dependent wave function, which is then executed on the IBM Kawasaki quantum computer. By applying four different mitigation methods, we demonstrate that accurate time-dependent populations and density matrices can be obtained on noisy superconducting-qubit type quantum computers.

Nature of X(6900) and its production mechanism at LHCb

Chang Gong et al.

Summary: We find that Pomeron exchanges play a crucial role in vector charmonium scatterings and can provide an explanation for the unique structures observed by the LHCb Collaboration. The presence of a narrow structure X(6900), formed by the exchange of Pomerons and coupled-channel effects, is predicted near the di-J/psi threshold. Furthermore, we predict that X(6900) will result in significant threshold enhancement in the J/psi-psi(2S) energy spectrum, which can be detected at LHCb.

Spectrum of cc(b)over-bar(b)over-bar, bc(c)over-bar(c)over-bar, and bc(b)over-bar(b)over-bar tetraquark states in the dynamical diquark model

Halil Mutuk

Summary: This article introduces the dynamical diquark model, which proposes that exotic hadrons can be formed from colored diquarks. Using numerical calculations and approximation methods, the mass spectra of S-wave cc (b) over bar(b) over bar, bc (c) over bar(c) over bar, and bc (b) over bar(b) over bar tetraquark systems are studied, with one of the systems identified as a candidate for a bound state.

Lineshape of the compact fully heavy tetraquark

Zejian Zhuang et al.

Summary: Observing hadrons and their distributions directly in experiments sheds light on the nonperturbative mystery of quantum chromodynamics, with new hadrons challenging current knowledge and providing additional inputs; the observation of fully heavy cc over bar(c) over bar system by LHCb opens a new era for hadron physics, where internal structure is extracted from experimental data.

Four-quark states with charm quarks in a two-body Bethe-Salpeter approach

Kinematical cusp and resonance interpretations of the X(2900)

T. J. Burns et al.

Summary: This study investigates the interpretation of the LHCb vector udc over bar s over bar state X(2900) as a kinematical cusp effect from (D)*K* and (D-1)*K(*) interactions. A satisfactory fit to the Dalitz plot projection is achieved using a triangle diagram model with hadronic final state interactions. The evidence for the generation of resonances due to strong enough final state interactions is inconclusive, but provides a somewhat better fit.

Tetraquark state X(6900) and the interaction between diquark and antidiquark

Hong-Wei Ke et al.

Summary: This study investigates the possible cc-(c) over bar(c) over bar bound states and the interaction between diquark (cc) and antidiquark ((c) over bar(c) over bar) within the Bethe-Salpeter framework. Numerical solutions of the B-S equations for different quantum numbers show that some excited states' spectra can be close to the mass of the newly discovered X(6900) with appropriate parameter values. Future measurements of the bb-(b) over bar(b) over bar state may aid in determining the exact form of effective interaction.

Nonrelativistic treatment of fully-heavy tetraquarks as diquark-antidiquark states

Halil Mutuk

Summary: This study aimed to estimate the masses of ground and excited states of fully-heavy tetraquark systems using a nonrelativistic model. The predicted masses of ground states were found to be higher than the decay thresholds, making them difficult to observe experimentally, while the first excited states showed lower masses compared to their respective thresholds, suggesting potential observability in experiments.

Vector resonance X1(2900) and its structure

S. S. Agaev et al.

Summary: The newly observed vector resonance X-1(2900) is modeled as an exotic vector state in the study, revealing it may be a tetraquark structure. Results show that the mass and width of X-1(2900) are smaller than experimental values reported by LHCb, but still consistent with theoretical and experimental errors.

Masses and magnetic moments of hadrons with one and two open heavy quarks: Heavy baryons and tetraquarks

Wen-Xuan Zhang et al.

Summary: In this paper, masses and magnetic moments of heavy baryons and tetraquarks with one and two open heavy flavors are computed using the MIT bag model. The results confirm the necessity of extra binding energy between heavy quarks and between heavy and strange quarks. Numerical calculations predict the masses of doubly charmed baryons and a strange isosinglet tetraquark, and show significant state mixing due to chromomagnetic interaction.
