Fulya Acikgoz et al.

Summary: This study aims to understand the drivers of voice assistant usage habits by extending the Technology Acceptance Model and introducing the concept of privacy cynicism. The results suggest that ease of use and perceived usefulness positively impact attitudes towards voice assistant usage, while privacy cynicism has a negative effect. Interestingly, privacy cynicism also positively influences trust in using voice assistants, and attitudes alone do not fully explain consumers' usage habits.
