Fire prevention in historic buildings - approaches for safe practice

Summary: There is an ongoing loss of irreplaceable built heritage due to fire incidents. Fire prevention is seen as the best solution, and this article examines the measures that can be taken based on recent statistics. In addition to risk assessment and fire prevention, a holistic approach is essential to protect historic buildings, including improving fire protection measures and establishing emergency plans.
