The effect of flipped classroom in multiple clinical skills training for clinical interns on Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE)

The affective component of learning in simulation-based education - facilitators' strategies to establish psychological safety and accommodate nursing students' emotions

Summary: This study explores facilitators' strategies for addressing students' emotions in simulation-based education (SBE). The findings indicate that facilitators are attentive to and continuously assess students' emotional responses in SBE. They cultivate both positive and negative emotions, adapted to the individual student's needs. Psychological safety is seen as a prerequisite for optimal learning. Facilitators balance levels of difficulty, emotional arousal, and psychological safety during the various phases of SBE.

Clinical Reasoning Needs to Be Explicitly Addressed in Health Professions Curricula: Recommendations from a European Consortium

Establishing bilingual catalogues with English as a common language may help standardize clinical reasoning learning objectives across countries.
