Theoretical Analysis of a COVID-19 CF-Fractional Model to Optimally Control the Spread of Pandemic

Azhar Iqbal Kashif Butt et al.

Summary: In this manuscript, a new mathematical model (SEIAPHR fractional model) is proposed to study the dynamic behavior of COVID-19. The existence and uniqueness of solutions are proven using fractional calculus and functional analyses. The stability of the model at equilibrium points is investigated and basic fixed controls are proposed to restrict the spread of the disease. Numerical results are obtained using an efficient Adams-Bashforth method and discussed through graphs.

Stability analysis and system properties of Nipah virus transmission: A fractional calculus case study

Dumitru Baleanu et al.

Summary: In this paper, a Caputo-type fractional model is established to investigate the transmission dynamics of the Nipah virus. The model considers unsafe contact with an infectious corpse as a possible mode of transmission. The system properties, such as solution positivity and boundedness, are explored using the generalized fractional mean value theorem. Furthermore, the local and global stability of disease-free and endemic steady-states are analyzed based on the basic reproduction number R0 using fractional Routh-Hurwitz criterion and LaSalle's invariability principle. The Adams-Bashforth-Moulton numerical method is employed to implement the epidemic model in a fractional sense, and simulation and comparative results confirm the theoretical discussions.

A New Modeling of Fractional-Order and Sensitivity Analysis for Hepatitis-B Disease with Real Data

Mehmet Yavuz et al.

Summary: In this study, a new illustrative and effective modeling approach is proposed to analyze the behaviors of Hepatitis-B virus. The mathematical modeling, equilibria, stabilities, and existence-uniqueness analysis of the model are considered, and numerical simulations using the Adams-Bashforth numerical scheme are conducted. The parameter estimation method is applied to determine the model parameters, and the sensitivity analysis of R-0 is examined. The results highlight the significant impact of the order of the fractional derivative on the dynamical process of the constructed model for Hepatitis-B.

Effect of quarantine on transmission dynamics of Ebola virus epidemic: a mathematical analysis

Waheed Ahmad et al.

Summary: This paper develops a nonlinear model to study the transmission of Ebola virus disease, evaluates equilibrium points and threshold parameter, and conducts a comprehensive mathematical analysis to understand the dynamics of EVD. The impact of quarantine strategies on disease spread is investigated, and numerical methods are employed to validate theoretical results. It is concluded that EVD could be eradicated faster with proper quarantine measures, and global asymptotical stability of equilibrium points is demonstrated.
