Linjer Chen et al.

Summary: A MoSSe nanohybrid photocatalyst with high visible light absorption and stable structure has been synthesized and shown to effectively degrade tetracycline under visible light irradiation. The MoSSe nanohybrid exhibited superior photocatalytic performance compared to MoS2 and MoSe2 nanoparticles, with higher specific surface area, faster charge separation, and increased degradation rate. The mechanism and pathway of tetracycline degradation on the MoSSe nanohybrid photocatalyst have been established.

Effect of Calcination Conditions on the Properties and Photoactivity of TiO2 Modified with Biuret

Aleksandra Piatkowska et al.

Summary: A series of novel non-metal doped TiO2 photocatalysts were obtained using a simple wet impregnation-calcination method, with crucial factors affecting photocatalytic activity being the anatase to rutile phase ratio, anatase crystallites size, and non-metals content. The photocatalysts exhibited improved activity in ketoprofen decomposition compared to crude TiO2, with the best photoactivity observed in a photocatalyst composed of 96.4% anatase calcined in air at 600 degrees C with specific non-metals content.
