Telehealth utilisation in residential aged care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic: A retrospective cohort study in Australian general practice

Summary: This study examined the utilization of telehealth services in residential aged care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings showed an increase in telehealth visits, primarily through telephone consultations, with a lower utilization of video consultations. Pension holders and residents in rural areas were more likely to use telehealth services.
