The current paper investigates optical soliton solutions in the concatenation model with power-law nonlinearity. The traveling wave hypothesis is used as a starting point, and detailed mathematical analysis leads to the discovery of cnoidal waves and snoidal waves, which eventually result in bright and singular soliton solutions when the modulus of ellipticity reaches the appropriate limiting value.
