Summary: Artificial intelligence (AI) has made significant progress, with the introduction of ChatGPT as the latest chatbot. To examine its potential in scientific writing, I tested ChatGPT's ability in creating an immunological review article on small RNAs during murine B cell development. Despite its polished and convincing language, ChatGPT struggled with details, references, and produced numerous incorrect statements. Consequently, I concluded that this type of AI is not (yet?) suitable for assisting in the writing of scientific articles.
