The main objective of this study is to convert TTIP to ultrapure high crystalline single crystal anatase-TiO2 at low temperature (45 degrees C), and the purity of the nano single-crystal anatase-TiO2 observed is 100%. The lattice parameters, lattice volume, crystal strain and crystallite size are confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis, and further confirmed by selected area electron diffraction and nano beam diffraction.
Low temperature (45 degrees C) conversion of titanium isopropoxide (TTIP) to ultrapure high crystalline single crystal anatase-TiO2 is the prime objective of the proposed work. While isopropyl alcohol (IP) peptizing agents react in acidic aqueous media, the predominate (101) single-crystal anatase-TiO2 has been observed. Details in X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirm the lattice parameters, lattice volume, crystal strain and crystallite size. Crystallographic data was further confirmed by selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and nano beam diffraction (NBD). Nano single-crystal anatase-TiO2 purity observed in 100 %.
