Health-related quality of life of adult, non-surgically treated patients with idiopathic scoliosis and curves above 45 degrees: a cross-sectional study at an average follow-up of 30 years

Summary: This study examined the long-term health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in non-surgically treated adult idiopathic scoliosis patients with curves of 45 degrees or higher. The results showed that the HRQoL was lower in this patient group compared to the national cohort. The study also found that scoliosis had an impact on the choice of education and occupation.
