Samy M. Shaban et al.

Summary: A colorimetric sensor for selective and sensitive assay of pAP in human urine and paracetamol drugs was developed using silver nanoparticles that change color upon growth due to the reducing power of pAP. The sensor provides a dynamic linear range and low limit of detection, suitable for point-of-care diagnosis by naked eyes. The accuracy and feasibility of the sensor for daily applications were proven with a recovery rate above 94% for both urine and paracetamol samples.
