The efficacy and safety of β-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) supplementation in healthy middle-aged adults: a randomized, multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, dose-dependent clinical trial

Lin Yi et al.

Summary: In animal studies, beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) supplementation increases blood nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) concentrations and improves healthspan and lifespan. This clinical trial involving middle-aged healthy adults found that daily oral dosing of 600 mg NMN resulted in the highest increase in blood NAD concentrations and showed the best clinical efficacy.

A Brief Review on Solubility Enhancement Technique: Hydrotropy

Bhavesh Namdev et al.

Summary: This review discusses various hypotheses proposed to understand the mechanism of hydrotropic agents and their impact on solubility enhancement. It also highlights the parameters affecting solubilizing ability and the applications of hydrotropes in drug solubilization, phytoconstituent extraction, and pharmaceutical analysis. The future prospects of employing hydrotropes in novel drug delivery systems to enhance solubility are also discussed.
