Patient views on the implementation of artificial intelligence in radiotherapy

Summary: Limited research has been conducted on patient views regarding the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in radiotherapy. This study adapted a validated patient questionnaire to understand current patient perspectives on the use of AI in radiotherapy. The results indicate a moderately negative patient view towards AI in radiotherapy, with certain factors provoking a more negative response. Age and gender did not show significant correlation with views on AI in radiotherapy. It is crucial to educate and involve patients in the future direction of AI technology in radiotherapy.
