Teleparallel gravity: from theory to cosmology

Sebastian Bahamonde et al.

Summary: In this Review, the development of teleparallel gravity as a gauge theory of translations is comprehensively introduced. The construction of consistent teleparallel theories that respect physical conditions such as local Lorentz invariance is described. Various modified teleparallel theories of gravity are discussed and connected into general classes of covariant gravitational theories. The cosmological consequences and observational implications of teleparallel gravity are also explored, along with the application of machine learning to gravity research.

Non-Markovian dynamics of open quantum system with memory

Vasily E. Tarasov

Summary: This paper proposes a non-Markovian generalization of the master equation for an open quantum system, focusing on the dynamics of a two-level quantum system with memory and interaction with the environment. The study includes a description of non-Markovian quantum processes with power-law memory, complete positivity, and bi-positivity in non-Markovian quantum dynamics with memory, as well as an example of a two-level quantum system with power-law memory. Additionally, the exact solution of the non-Markovian master equations for two-level open quantum systems with memory is derived.

Quantum Maps with Memory from Generalized Lindblad Equation

Vasily E. Tarasov

Summary: In this paper, an exactly solvable model of non-Markovian dynamics of open quantum systems is proposed, which describes open quantum systems with power-law fading memory. The non-Markovian quantum dynamics are described by using integrations and differentiations of non-integer orders, as well as fractional calculus.

Noether's theorem in statistical mechanics

Sophie Hermann et al.

Summary: The article discusses Noether's calculus of invariant variations and the identities derived from functional symmetries, focusing on generating functionals and mechanical laws in many-body systems. Through functional differentiation, hierarchies of local sum rules are obtained, revealing the interrelation of density correlators and internal and external forces.
