French Ecological Imperialism: A Postcolonial Approach

Summary: Ecological imperialism is gaining increasing attention from analysts, but the existing literature on the subject has two major gaps: the underrepresentation of non-English-speaking countries and the predominant use of Marxist analytical frameworks. To address these gaps, this study focuses on the role of France and the value of postcolonialism as an analytical framework for understanding and addressing ecological imperialism.
