Exploring the new electrocatalyst based on pyrochlore manganese phosphate/graphene composite for hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution reaction: An experimental and computational study

Summary: In this work, pyrochlore manganese phosphate (Mn2P2O7) nanoplatelets were synthesized by a simple coprecipitation method and combined with two-dimensional graphene nano-sheets (GNS) through ultrasonication to form a composite material. The catalyst exhibited excellent performance in both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in different electrolytes. The study highlights the potential of Mn2P2O7-GNS as a stable and durable bifunctional electrocatalyst for clean energy applications.

Fabrication and Characterization of Sulphur-Doped Graphitic Carbon Nitride Nanosheets as a Highly Selective and Ultrasensitive Electrochemical Sensor for Detection of 2,4-Dinitrophenol in Real Gym Supplements

Summary: In this study, a template-assisted calcination method was used to synthesize Sulphur-doped graphitic carbon nitride (S(X)GCN), which was then applied for electrochemical detection of 2,4-Dinitrophenol (2,4-DNP). It was found that S(80)GCN exhibited excellent electrochemical response for 2,4-DNP detection. The synthesized S(X)GCN/GCE (x=80%) showed a low detection limit and a wide linear range. Furthermore, the practical application of this sensor was successfully demonstrated by detecting spiked 2,4-dinitrophenol in a real gym supplements sample.

Fabrication ofcobalt tungstate/N-rGO nanocomposite: Application towards the detection of antibiotic drug-Furazolidone

Occurrence, removal and mass balance of substituted diphenylamine antioxidants in wastewater treatment plants in Northeast China

This study investigated the occurrence and removal efficiency of ten selected SDPAs in six WWTPs in Northeast China, revealing consistent dominant congers in influent, effluent, and sludge. A cyclic activated sludge system combined with a V-shape filter demonstrated the highest removal efficiencies of SDPAs among different treatment processes.

Highly selective electrochemical detection of diphenylamine in apple samples using rod shaped CuCo2O4 derived from bimetallic organic frameworks
