Distributed Finite-Time Optimization of Second-Order Multiagent Systems With Unknown Velocities and Disturbances

Xiangyu Wang et al.

Summary: In this article, a output feedback-based feedforward-feedback composite distributed control scheme is proposed to solve the distributed finite-time optimization problem for second-order multiagent systems with unknown velocities, disturbances, and quadratic local cost functions, by combining finite-time observers (FTOs), the homogeneous systems theory, and distributed finite-time estimator techniques together.

Bounded Consensus Tracking of Heterogeneous Multiagent Systems Under Digraphs With Diverse Communication and Input Delays

Souradip De et al.

Summary: In this study, we address the bounded consensus tracking problem for a heterogeneous multiagent system consisting of single- and double-integrator agents, considering diverse communication and input delays. We propose a protocol that includes a consensus-based trajectory estimator and a tracking controller, which enables bounded tracking among the agents.

Multi-agent consensus with heterogeneous time-varying input and communication delays in digraphs

Wei Jiang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the distributed consensus tracking control problem for general linear multi-agent systems with external disturbances and heterogeneous time-varying input and communication delays. The authors propose a communication-delay-related observer and use output regulation theory to relax the results. The stability of the closed-loop error system is guaranteed using a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and input-delay-dependent linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

Distributed Output-Feedback Consensus Control for Nonlinear Multiagent Systems Subject to Unknown Input Delays

Kuo Li et al.

Summary: This article discusses the distributed output-feedback consensus control problem for nonlinear multiagent systems with input delays. A novel distributed observer and a classical observer are constructed to estimate the state information of the leader and the follower, respectively. Then, a distributed controller independent of delays is proposed. Theoretical results are validated through numerical simulations.

Adaptive Formation Tracking Control for First-Order Agents With a Time-Varying Flow Parameter

Yang-Yang Chen et al.

Summary: A novel adaptive method is proposed to achieve both path following and formation moving in the presence of a spatio-temporal flowfield. The congelation of variables method is used to estimate the time-varying flow parameters without any restrictions on their rate of variation. The asymptotic properties of the resulting adaptive system are studied in detail, and simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Distributed Finite-Time Containment Control for Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Mismatched Disturbances

Wenbin Xiao et al.

Summary: This article proposes a finite-time adaptive containment control scheme for uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems, which utilizes dynamic surface control technique and power integrator technique to develop a distributed finite-time adaptive containment algorithm with lower computational complexity. The difficulty from mismatched uncertainties and actuator faults is overcome by constructing disturbance observers and compensating with an adaptive control scheme. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results in ensuring finite-time stability in the presence of actuator faults.

Connectivity Preserving Formation Stabilization in an Obstacle-Cluttered Environment in the Presence of Time-Varying Communication Delays

Savvas G. Loizou et al.

Summary: This article addresses the formation stabilization problem for multiagent systems in obstacle-cluttered environments with nonideal wireless communication. A novel control strategy is proposed to drive the systems to desired formations while counteracting communication impairments. The stability of the system is proved using consensus problem, Lyapunov stability theory, and Halanay's lemma.

Generalized Integrator-Extended State Observer With Applications to Grid-Connected Converters in the Presence of Disturbances

Baoling Guo et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the design of a Generalized Integrator-Extended State Observer (GI-ESO) for large-scale fast-varying sinusoidal disturbances in Grid-connected Converters (GcCs). By using multiple selective resonant frequency integrators to observe disturbances and introducing a frequency-adaptive mechanism, the tradeoff between observer bandwidth and noise filtering is resolved.
