Hearing Aids Enhance Music Enjoyment in Individuals With Hearing Loss

Summary: The study found that hearing aid users reported increased music enjoyment with hearing aids compared to without. The severity of hearing loss and poorer word recognition scores were associated with decreased music enjoyment without hearing aids. However, hearing aid usage appeared to mitigate this effect, especially for those with more severe hearing loss.
