Babesia blood testing: the first-year experience

Summary: Between May 2020 and May 2021, Babesia testing was conducted on 1,816,669 blood donations in 13 states and DC. 365 donations tested positive for Babesia, primarily in MA, CT, NY, NJ, and PA.
