This paper analyzes the impact of the dynamic movement of logistics sites on the surrounding environment and the extent to which city planners and investors benefit from such studies. It investigates the relationship between logistics and transportation geography and highlights the role of using GIS to achieve a sustainable smart urban pattern. The study identifies weaknesses in the management of warehouse sites in Jeddah, leading to negative effects on the city's infrastructure, quality of life, and environmental systems. The study recommends allocating trailers in railways for transporting goods to improve accessibility and facilitate the movement of goods within the city and neighboring areas.
