Kjetil Braut Simonsen

Summary: This article analyzes the dissemination of anti-Semitic propaganda by the Norwegian National Socialist Party, Nasjonal Samling (NS), during the period from July to the end of December 1942. It examines how the NS leadership and party press constructed and communicated the image of 'the Jew' and explores the extent of threats against the Jewish minority in Norway. The article emphasizes the intense and aggressive anti-Semitism promoted by the NS, as well as their willingness to participate in radical anti-Jewish actions and their co-responsibility in the Holocaust.
