Metal nanocomposites-based electrochemical sensor for the detection of Vanillin (food additives): Experimental and theoretical approach

Summary: A sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor was developed to detect Vanillin using Mn/Zn/V (MZV) nanocomposites. The MZV nanocomposites were synthesized by modified Sol-gel technique and characterized. Cyclic Voltammetry, Linear Sweep Voltammetry, and Differential Pulse Voltammetry experiments were performed. The specially designed working electrode showed a good sensing ability toward Vanillin in real and reference samples.

Highly sensitive amperometric food sensor for Sudan-I dye using nanocomposites modified working electrode

Summary: An electrochemical sensor based on modified working electrode using ternary metal oxide nanocomposites was developed for sensitive detection of Sudan-I dye in food samples. The sensor showed reliable and reproducible sensing ability with good stability and speed. It is suitable for both quantitative and qualitative analysis of food additives, preservatives, coloring agents, and flavoring agents.

Summary: In this study, Fe-Ni and Fe-Ni-Co nanocrystalline coatings were successfully synthesized through electrical explosion method, which exhibit low porosity, different surface morphologies, and good soft magnetic properties. The results indicate that the addition of Co can effectively reduce the coercivity of the coatings. This study is of great importance for the understanding and application of electrical explosion in nanomaterial synthesis.
