The most important groups of functional additives for biodiesel fuels are discussed based on modern technical and environmental requirements, including additives that improve fuel combustion and reduce harmful emissions, oxygenate additives, depressants, and lubricating additives. The effectiveness of these additives in mixed fuels of different compositions is analyzed.
