Summary: A systematic review and meta-analysis found that strict adherence to the 2018 World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research Cancer Prevention Recommendations is associated with a lower risk of breast, colorectal, and lung cancers. However, there is no significant association with prostate or other cancers. Further research is needed to explore the risk of other types of cancer.

Summary: Breastfeeding for over 24 months was associated with a 63% reduced risk of pancreatic cancer incidence compared to no breastfeeding. There was an inverse linear relationship between breastfeeding duration and pancreatic cancer incidence, as well as a negative association with older age at first birth and menopause. Current use of oral contraceptives was linked to a higher risk of pancreatic cancer, though limited by a small number of cases.
