The interference wave and the bright and dark soliton for two integro-differential equation by using BNNM

Run-Fa Zhang et al.

Summary: In this work, the nonlinear property of neural network is utilized to investigate interference wave and bright and dark soliton solutions. The generalized broken soliton-like equation is derived through the generalized bilinear method. Three neural network models are proposed for accurately fitting explicit solutions of the generalized broken soliton-like equations and Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli-like equation. Interference wave solutions and bright and dark soliton solutions are obtained using the bilinear neural network method, and are visualized through three-dimensional plots and density plots.

Multi-component AKNS systems

Metin Gurses et al.

Summary: We study two members of the multi-component AKNS hierarchy, namely the multi-NLS and multi-MKdV systems. The Hirota bilinear forms of these equations are derived, and soliton solutions are obtained. All possible local and nonlocal reductions of these systems of equations are found, and a prescription is given to obtain their soliton solutions. (2 + 1)-dimensional extensions of the multi-component AKNS systems are also derived.

Resonance solutions and hybrid solutions of an extended (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in fluid mechanics

Hongcai Ma et al.

Summary: The main goal of this article is to construct solutions to the extended (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, including resonance solutions, rational solutions, breather solutions, and various hybrid solutions. The main approaches used are the conjugate complex method, long-wave limit method, and introducing new restrictive conditions. Plotting the images of the solutions (fusion, fission, and collision phenomena, trajectory changes, etc.) helps to better explain the complex dynamical behavior and facilitate the study of fluid mechanics.

A novel Riemann-Hilbert approach via t-part spectral analysis for a physically significant nonlocal integrable nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Jianping Wu

Summary: In this paper, a novel Riemann-Hilbert (RH) approach is introduced for a physically significant nonlocal integrable nonlinear Schrodinger equation. The approach performs spectral analysis from the t-part of the Lax pair to formulate the desired RH problem. Compared with the traditional RH method, the novel RH approach in this paper has the advantages of simpler symmetry relations of scattering data and easily obtaining general multi-soliton solutions in the reflectionless cases. Additionally, special soliton dynamics are explored theoretically and demonstrated graphically with their three-dimensional profiles to showcase the remarkable features of the obtained multi-soliton solutions.

Nonlinear waves and the Inverse Scattering Transform

Mark J. Ablowitz

Summary: Solitons are nonlinear stable, localized waves that are widely applicable in various physical problems. They have been studied since the 1800s and were discovered in fiber optics in 1973. The theory of solitons, known as the Inverse Scattering Transform, allows for linearization and explicit solutions to different nonlinear wave equations. It has been extended to novel classes of nonlocal nonlinear wave equations and fractional integrable nonlinear systems in recent years.

Summary: The paper presents a Riemann-Hilbert (RH) approach for a physically meaningful nonlocal integrable nonlinear Schrodinger equation of reverse-time type. The obtained results include symmetry relations of the scattering data, general multi-soliton solutions in reflectionless cases, and long-time behaviors of solutions in reflection cases. Furthermore, special soliton dynamics are explored and illustrated using Mathematica, demonstrating the remarkable features of the obtained multi-soliton solutions.

Summary: In this paper, the Hirota bilinear method is extended to the time-dependent KP equation, and N-soliton solutions are derived using a new property of the bilinear operator. The M-breather solutions and hybrid solutions composed of solitons and breathers are also constructed by imposing parameter constraints. The obtained solutions exhibit different dynamic behaviors based on the chosen time-dependent coefficients, suggesting the physical importance of the time-dependent KP equation in describing natural phenomena.
