Concurrent Validity of the Adult Eating Behavior Questionnaire in a Canadian Sample

Summary: This study tested the factor structure of the AEBQ in Canadian adults and found that a seven-factor model had better fit statistics than the original eight-factor structure. Overweight, obesity, and thinness among a nationally representative sample of Norwegian adolescents and changes from childhood: Associations with sex, region, and population density

Summary: The prevalence of overweight, obesity, and thinness among 13-year-old Norwegians appear to be established by age 8 years, with little evidence of changes from childhood to adolescence. Obesity was more prevalent in the Northern region and rural areas, while girls showed a trend towards higher odds of thinness compared to boys. The findings suggest the importance of early prevention and targeted interventions in specific areas.
