Summary: The study shows that the radiation emission of the electric drive system mainly depends on the presence of torque, rather than the motor speed and bus voltage. Even with an increase in torque size, there is no significant impact on radiation emission. Therefore, during testing, the appropriate torque should be selected based on actual conditions.

Specific electromagnetic radiation in the wireless signal range increases wakefulness in mice

Lingyu Liu et al.

Summary: Exposure to modulated 2.4-GHz EMR at a nonthermal output level significantly increases wakefulness time and decreases NREM and REM time in mice. In contrast, unmodulated 2.4-GHz EMR at the same output level has little impact on mouse sleep patterns. These findings suggest that alteration of sleep architecture in mice is a specific physiological response to prolonged exposure to wireless-range EMR.
