This study develops a dependency analysis method for HFEs in Level 2 PSA, filling a research gap in this field and being of great significance for accurately evaluating the risk level of nuclear power plants.
The dependency analysis of human failure events (HFEs) is an important part of the human reliability analysis, and accurately evaluating the probability of HFEs and the risk level of nuclear power plants is of great significance. Based on the analysis of human factor features in Level 2 PSA and the applicability of the existing de-pendency analysis methods, this paper develops and defines the elements influencing the dependence between HFEs in Level 2 PSA. On this basis, a dependence inference model is established by applying a fuzzy residual network and expert judgment, and its usability and robustness are demonstrated. Then, a dependency analysis method for HFEs in Level 2 PSA is proposed, and a standardized analysis procedure is established. Finally, the application of this method is illustrated through case study. This study fills a gap in the application and research of the dependency analysis of HFEs in Level 2 PSA.
