Using Multicriteria Decision Making to Evaluate the Risk of Hydrogen Energy Storage and Transportation in Cities

Dongshi Sun et al.

Summary: In this paper, a hybrid multiple-criteria decision-making method is proposed to manage the risks involved in the storage and transportation of hydrogen. The key points of the risk are identified and a prototype decision structure is built. A hybrid MCDM approach called the D-ANP is developed to obtain the weights of each risk point. The level of risk in the storage and transportation of hydrogen in Beijing, China is evaluated using fuzzy evaluation.

Analyzing critical barriers of smart energy city in Turkey based ontwo-dimensional uncertainty by hesitant z-fuzzy linguistic terms

Fatma Kutlu Gundogdu

Summary: The successful implementation of smart energy cities is crucial for optimizing urban energy systems in Turkey. This study aims to identify and prioritize the critical barriers hindering Turkey from becoming a smart energy city. The research findings highlight policy, economic, and social barriers as the main obstacles, along with five sub-barriers that require more attention, including the lack of successful past experiences/projects, social/political conflicts, inadequate regulatory framework, lack of regulatory norms/policies/directions, and the lack of technical knowledge among planners and information on new technology.
