This article summarizes the main issues affecting the textual transmission of Boccaccio's Decameron translation, Las cien novelas, which was completed in the late 15th century (of which we have a partial manuscript and a printed version from 1496), and offers some guidelines on how to overcome the obstacles presented by the translation in an edition.
Resumen A partir de un examen detenido de los problemas textuales de Las cien novelas, la traduccion del Decameron de Boccaccio que se ultimo en el siglo XV (de la que conservamos un manuscrito parcial y un impreso de 1496), se sintetizan las principales cuestiones que afectan a la transmision textual y se ofrecen algunas pautas de como se podrian solventar en una edicion los escollos que presenta la traduccion.
