Heavy and light media multitaskers employ different neurocognitive strategies in a prospective memory task: An ERP study

The results showed that heavy multitaskers had comparable accuracy but faster response times. In terms of neurocognitive processes, heavy multitaskers recruited more cognitive resources to monitor the occurrence of prospective memory cues, while light multitaskers were more likely to spontaneously detect the cues.

A Self-Controlled Mind Is Reflected by Stable Mental Processing
