To use or not to use ChatGPT in higher education? A study of students' acceptance and use of technology

This study aimed to develop a model that predicts the adoption and use of ChatGPT among higher education students. Based on a previous theory, seven predictors were selected to build the model, and the data analysis was conducted using partial-least squares method. The model was reliable and valid, with the results based on self-reported data from 534 students. Nine out of ten hypotheses were confirmed, highlighting the importance of habit, performance expectancy, and hedonic motivation in predicting behavioral intention.

What Is the Impact of ChatGPT on Education? A Rapid Review of the Literature
