Surgical management and Outcomes of Depressed Skull Fractures

Summary: This prospective study included 65 patients aged 10 to 60 years to determine the outcomes of surgical management in patients with depressed skull fractures. Results showed that most cases of compound depressed skull fractures had good outcomes with prompt treatment, but the severity of injury and the presence or absence of intracranial lesions contingent the outcomes of depressed skull fractures.
