Summary: This study investigates the association between chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) and new onset asthma. By analyzing electronic health record data from Geisinger, it is found that prevalent CRS is associated with the diagnosis of new onset adult asthma in the following year. These findings have clinical implications for asthma prevention.
